In the Christian tradition meditation is considered a means of coming into contact with God. It is the indispensable basis for every journey of self-awareness and knowledge of life itself. Meditating puts into action thought, imagination and emotions for this is one of the most effective means to feel the presence of God and angels. The angels strongly advise us to make meditation a daily practice. Only in fact, meditating every day can lead to a real change. Meditating with the guardian angel means experiencing the love of God and angels.
Before starting to meditate you need to do two things: remove all negative thoughts from your mind and turn off the electronic devices that could disturb you. Although meditation is a free practice, there are some rules to be respected:
always take a comfortable position;
choose a comfortable and airy environment;
wear comfortable clothes;
light a scented candle or incense.
How do you meditate with angels?
Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Breathing in, imagine you are surrounded by a beautiful white light, the light of your guardian angel. Exhaling from the mouth let go of anxiety, stress and worries. In doing so, you are filled with light and divine love.
When you feel calm and peaceful, you are ready to begin your meditation. With your eyes closed and your mind free, in this state of deep relaxation, you feel that you are one with God. Repeat three times – Angel of God, who are my guardian, enlighten, guard, rule and govern me who I was entrusted by the Celestial Piety. Amen.
The repetition of prayer produces feelings of well-being and deep peace; if necessary, you can repeat them several times during meditation, to ward off any negative thoughts. Those who are more open and sensitive can feel the presence of their guardian angel, accompanied by a sweet sensation of joy, light and loving protection.
Stay silent with your breath. Your angel may talk to you during meditation. Be open and listen, not with your ears but with your heart. Angelic contact will give you peace, love, happiness and serenity. You may even feel a great emotion and you may feel like crying.
Accept every conscious feeling and emotion that you are not alone, but that your angel is there with you. You can make this meditation last for 20 to 30 minutes. You will feel within you when it is time to open your eyes and continue your day in the company of your guardian angel.
