Intuition path of the unconscious in the conscious world

Intuition is the language of the soul guided along the path of the unconscious experience hidden in our brain. For Albert Einstein, the only really important thing was intuition. It is not about magic or spells, but it is the subtle ability that allows us to understand if a person is reliable or not.

Even if the bibliography about the strictly psychological meaning of this term abounds, you will be interested that this is a subject often studied and analyzed scientifically. Howard Gardner, who specializes in theories of the mind, talks about the need to develop a type of intuitive intelligence with which to be more receptive to our inner world.

If there is a reason why you have always been interested in the study of intuition, it is because it is the strategy that drives most of our daily decisions. Taking one path rather than another, not trusting someone, rejecting a job offer, accepting a project … Some people meditate a lot on things, while others, on the contrary, let themselves be carried away by intuition.

No one can guarantee that following intuition we will make the right decision. Nevertheless, an equally important effect will be achieved … acting according to one’s essence, one’s values, one’s own emotions, and evaluations obtained according to one’s previous experiences. We will take a step towards the correct inner balance.

    Essential characteristics of intuition

One of the leading experts on the subject is the sociologist and essayist Malcolm Gladwell. Through his many studies, he shows us that many brokers, doctors, psychologists, advertisers, mechanics, and housewives are able to make the right decisions within a few seconds. We are therefore faced with a kind of power that goes beyond ordinary psychic abilities. Intuition is part of what is commonly known as the adaptive unconscious.

Everything learned, felt, internalized, thought out or expressed creates a unique and particular background of wisdom. In our essence, it is a mental capital that we use every day almost without realizing it. The power of intuitive people lies in their ability to know how to use this capital as a channel. A good intuitive will know how to separate all the branches of a forest to find the path in the middle of a crossroads. Because deciding is the art of discarding, intuition is a fundamental tool.

  • The Imagination welcomes the stimuli of the unconscious

Imagination is not an illusory, fantastic and unrealistic aspect as some think. Imagination is the ability to mentally represent something that has been experienced – a concrete element, a thought, an emotion, a sensation, and intuition.

In the mental image that is formed beyond the representation of what it refers to, there is also an unconscious emotional part. In the image, there is, therefore, a conscious part and an unconscious part that is integrated into a single whole. The image is the container of the two elements and at the same time the place of their meeting.

The child who draws parents refers to his internal image. This reproduces how he perceived them on an ideational level, how he experiences them on an emotional level, the presence of fears, anguish, pleasure. And also unconscious aspects that he has grasped in their way of being and which are completely unknown to his ego and that of his parents.

Imagination allows you to activate the symbolic capacity

The capacity of – as if – establishes a bridge between concrete reality and the unconscious and which has a fundamental transformative function. Imagination is the possibility of welcoming the stimulations of the unconscious, irrational drives in a conscious context.

The image thus becomes a container of something deeper that wants to appear. In the image
takes a voice that has no voice
form that which has no form
space that which does not give space
    rhythm what has no time
    matter what has no matter
body what is the only spirit

Archetypes that are collective, innate, and unknowable tendencies also manifest themselves in the form of images. And specifically through a symbolic representation
the fairy is the good mother
the witch is the evil and destructive maternal
the ogre is the bad paternal
the child is the new element
    the old the wisdom
    and so on.

In fact, the symbol embodies the image of the content that transcends the conscious. It is something mysterious, impossible to define, and understand because it is a unitary reality of conscious and unconscious and has the function of bringing about a profound transformation.

Fairy tales, myths, and religions are in fact rich in symbols because they have the power to activate a radical change in personal and collective history. And because they refer to a broader, universal, and unconscious sense that cannot be fully explained.

The man also produces symbols unconsciously and spontaneously in the form of dreams. Dreams are characterized by symbolic images that correspond to the words of the language of the unconscious. Dreams are the letters that the Self sends us every night to make us understand with its symbolic language who we really are. Where are we going wrong, what we need at that moment, what is the project and the mission we have inside, and how to make it happen.

Nowadays, the image is used in a prevalent way

Because advertising companies and consumer goods producers know well how effective it is in entering immediately and directly into the unconscious. They know that it has more power than written or verbal language and therefore use it to influence behavior when purchasing certain products. Or in setting collective and uniform ways of being that can be easily manipulated.

All subjects with a weak ego and children who do not yet have a formed and autonomous ego are the ones who absorb these messages the most. Children in particular absorb the behaviors and ways of cartoon characters they identify with.

The greater attention paid to the image that children and young people demonstrate does not only depend on their natural predisposition to unconscious contents but is also due to the need for irrational, emotional, and symbolic elements that are lacking in our society.

Our society no longer has any reference to symbols, which have the important function of connecting us with the personal, collective unconscious, and with the spirit. It replaced the symbols in which more people found and recognized themselves, with consumer goods, visibility, social consensus and success, power and control.

People have therefore lost their internal reference. And young people are as if they are looking for compensation in the images against a world that is too overrun by the concrete. From the rational, of a world that rejects and is terrified of problems, pain, and death because it is no longer able to find their meaning and significance.

Educating your children in the imagination, therefore, means giving them the ability to recall inner images from within. And to be able to re-propose them with drawing, painting, sculpture, poetry, story, diary, dance, music, rhythm, song, sound.

Imagination allows him to better defend himself from prefabricated and artificial images that come from the outside, but it also allows him to recognize himself and find his own way.

  • Educating in intuition also means educating in creativity

Educating in intuition is the function through which the possibilities are perceived, that is, in how many different ways a thing can be done. It is also the presentiment, that is, the ability to anticipate what is not yet visible, the future potential of a situation.

Sensation perceives reality through the physical senses, intuition perceives through the unconscious. Intuition is in direct contact with the unconscious and receives flashes of genius, suggestions, artistic ideas from the unconscious.

Intuition is an image that comes from the unconscious and is reflected on the conscience as in a mirror. Since it comes from the unconscious where there is no time and space, it is able to grasp aspects and seeds of the future, it is able to perceive completely new ways of approaching a problem, it is able to grasp original solutions.

It is the creative ability of the artist who is in contact with the seeds of the future and with universal seeds that know how to speak to every man. Because they are images that correspond to very deep collective unconscious levels.

Educating in intuition, therefore, means fostering the ability to grasp the possibilities. That is, in how many possible ways an object can be used, how many different possibilities there are to tell an event, in how many different ways a feeling can be expressed.

It is also getting used to not becoming mentally rigid, not becoming fossilized, not becoming one-sided. Learn that things have multiple facets and can be viewed in multiple ways and from multiple angles. And that there are so many different possibilities to deal with problems, it will help to avoid getting stuck in difficult situations and always find a way out.

Educating in intuition also means teaching to trust oneself, one’s unconscious, one’s nature, one’s self. Be open to what can come from the richest and most precious part of us, where the most important treasures are and the center of our life.

It means being centered on the things that matter, being yourself, being more complete. This allows you to recognize the signs, symbols, lightning, premonitions, strange scents that indicate the way. Who gives the solution, who discover profound and unknown aspects.

It is one of the most precious teachings that a parent can give children because it is what allows them to learn to find solutions, to get in touch with the germs of the future, to create something new that never existed.

    Educating to creativity

Creativity is not thinking about something different, new than what has already been done. It is not a rational invention or a social and political message expressed through an image.

True creativity is opening up and getting in touch with something unknown to oneself and to others. Something unknown from the past and present, something that is not owned by anyone.

It is letting oneself be crossed by something autonomous, vital, immediate, fulminating, and imperious that imposes itself and must absolutely be expressed. Image, idea, connection, feeling it may be, is a manifestation of the unconscious that has decided to reveal itself to that person and at that moment. It is a universal message that the artist can and must pass on to the world.

When the artist has a flash of genius, a fulminating representation is as if possessed by the autonomous and powerful energy that forces him to immediately produce the work. It is a vital center that takes and emanates collective archetypal energy and is characterized by an intense affective tonality. In fact, the artist does not know what he is doing on a rational level, he is totally taken by the affective tonality. Only at the end can he grasp the meaning of the work.

  • Karma stabilizing force between past, present, and future

Karma stabilizing force between past, present, and future

Karma is part of us in our existence, and by existence, I don’t mean the life we are living today, but past, present and future. For each action, there is an equal and opposite reaction that serves to restore balance. Every action we take has repercussions on our life that are determined by karma.

Karma is not our destiny, but it is what we do not see with the conscious part, they are emotions, traumas, that we do or suffer that are not fully understood. Put simply, every good or bad deed we do will have inner effects. When we consciously understand the emotion in us and in the other, integrating it into all three aspects, body, mind, soul. One has, the state of consciousness.

So we objectively find an inner balance, we burn karma and the benefits on life are to become conductors of one’s existence, on the soul. The benefit is to be lighter that you no longer need to incarnate. Continuing the path in higher dimensions.

Every evil or loving action that is not understood, what it causes in the counterpart and in us, creates in our life effects of incarnation between victim and executioner. Karma takes shape based on what is held inside, emotions, traumas, everything that is not understood.

Which unconsciously conditions our choices and actions and manifests itself in the attraction of events, changes, people, which will make us relive in a game between the executioner and the victim. Wanting to see the thing from a scientific point of view we say that it is comparable in physics to the law of action and reaction.

Therefore, every decision we make about unconscious emotion deeply marks what surrounds us and heavily influences our way of life. Because we receive a reaction corresponding to the intensity with which our actions influence what is around us. Karma is not positive, but neither is it negative, it is a stabilizing force, which finds its center of gravity in the balance of things.
