  • The Beatitudes are the heart of Jesus’ message

The beatitudes are understood only starting from Christ because they speak of him, reveal his face, his lifestyle. Through the Beatitudes Christ tells us who he is, tells us what he has to say and to offer to the world. The nine beatitudes are nine features of the face of Jesus. In them he tells of his life, he tells of the new heart dreamed of by the prophets, he says that he is the poor, the meek, the peaceful, the hungry for justice.

it is He who has eyes so pure and limpid as to see traces of God everywhere and signs of goodness inside every sinner. And when Christ is risen, He has become the Consulate who knows how to console every person who suffers and feels the weight of life.

The Beatitudes are not just a synthetic autobiography of Christ

But they constitute the heart of Jesus’ message, the Magna Carta of the Kingdom announced by him. It is a message that the Lord addresses to his disciples and all men without distinction and in which he reveals to us that his heart and his cares are addressed in particular to the humble and poor in spirit (Matthew 5.2).

That is to those who experience their helplessness and have learned to expect everything from God. Like the prophets of the Old Testament, these poor in spirit and humble live righteously and obey the law of God. And because their relationships with God and with the brothers are marked by justice and its absolute needs, are persecuted (Matthew 5.10-11).

Although persecuted, Jesus declares them blessed. The reason for the beatitude is not the current situation, but the new condition that the blessed receive as a gift from God. Because theirs is the kingdom of heaven because they will be comforted because they will inherit the earth, and so on.

Jesus uses the passive future to indicate that the beatitudes are the way to achieve joy. Because in order to give himself to us, God often chooses unthinkable paths, perhaps those of our limits, of our tears, of our defeats.

Christ says Blessed are you – Who are these you? They are the ones who accepted the word of the Lord and became his disciples. With the Beatitudes, the Lord tells us that man is greater than the things he possesses.

Going after him means trusting him, accepting our condition as creatures, recognizing that we are fragile. And that we need to entrust ourselves not to material goods and our abilities, but to a greater mystery, to the mystery of the Lord’s goodness.

The Beatitudes force us to ask ourselves – What is the meaning of our life?

    Where is he going?
What is really important and what is less important?
By giving us the Beatitudes, the Lord tells us that we must learn to look beyond and allow ourselves to be questioned. The nine Beatitudes also describe the features of the man’s face free from deception and violence.

Of the man who opened himself to friendship with God, to the forgiveness of sins, who rejected the injustice of the world in order to choose God’s justice.

We are happy to listen to them because they are good news. It is the announcement of the love of God, in Christ for all men. A reality that in its fullness will be realized beyond time. But it is already in progress, indeed it belongs to those who have welcomed Christ.

It is a courageous, provocative message. It goes against the tide of simply human logic. Anticipate the scandal and the madness of the cross. It is a message that only in Christ has its justification and only from him receives a value. The Beatitudes start from Christ and lead to Him.

  • Fallen Angels have chosen the path of evil

The fallen angels have chosen the path of rebellion and evil. From the context of Revelation, we infer that before the creation of the visible world there was a creation of the purely spiritual world, that is, of the angels. What was then created are not just forces or relationships, but beings, people endowed with intelligence, freedom, and responsibility. So even in their existence, there is a moral choice.

The angels were tested, regarding God’s holy sovereignty, which they may or may not recognize. This was the first choice between good and evil. For the first time, the will of God was done. That this will be done is the Kingdom of God, thus the Kingdom of God began.

But at the same time, opposition to God’s will also begins. Beings endowed with the greatest strength of knowledge, will, freedom and the capacity for responsibility have rebelled against God’s dominion. Therefore they have chosen evil, they have become fallen angels.

Their whole being was at stake, the angels are in fact pure spirits and therefore simple, in each of their acts the totality of their being is expressed. So it was already in their first moment of life, which was, therefore, a moment of very clear awareness, of tremendous freedom, of full self-realization, without residue. Terrible act, from which only the real Angel came out – and the devil who is the truly lost being, the enemy of God and not just a demon.

The Fallen Angels in the Old Testament

The existence of evil would therefore derive from the rebellion, which took place in the mists of time, by a crowd of angels, who refused to obey God and the cosmic order he built. The leader of the rebel angels is Lucifer, – the bearer of light -, – the son of the morning – is also referred to as Satan. The prophet Isaiah (14, 12-15) speaks of Lucifer in the Old Testament:

How come you fell from the sky, o morning star, son of the dawn? How is it that you have landed, you who trampled the nations? You said in your heart – I will ascend into heaven, I will raise my throne above the stars of God. I will be frozen on the assembly mountain, in the extreme north. I will climb to the top of the clouds, I will be similar to the Highest. Instead, they made you descend into the grave, into the depths of the pit.

The Fallen Angels in the Bible

In the Bible there are scattered hints of this rebellion, according to the book of Genesis, evil would pre-exist man since Adam and Eve were seduced by the tempter in the form of a serpent. Lucifer, the first, the most beautiful, the most resplendent of the angels created by God, performed an act of rebellion against his Creator.

Because, driven by pride and jealousy, as well as pride, he wanted to replace Him, that is, he wanted to become God. Other angels followed him in the rebellion, and all, after a terrible heavenly battle, were defeated by the angels faithful to the Almighty and then plunge into hell. The New Testament, in the book of Revelation, makes an extremely concise but precise reference to this battle (12, 7-9):

And there was a battle in heaven, Michael and his angels fought with the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought but did not win, and their place was no longer found in heaven. And the great dragon, the ancient serpent, which is called the Devil and Satan, the seducer of the whole world. He was cast down, he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him.

The same book of Revelation, a few verses earlier, in revealing the prophecies about the end of the world and the final struggle between good and evil, underlines the great demonic power when it affirms.

And another sign appeared in heaven, and behold a great red dragon, which had seven heads and ten horns and seven diadems on its heads. And his tail drew a third of the stars in the sky and threw them to the earth.

  • Compassion gives me the strength to accept and forgive

Divine compassion gives me the strength to accept and forgive.
The angels of compassion bring hope and help to those who struggle, they renew our faith in God and in His infinite goodness. They bring compassion into our lives and help us to understand that God’s love pours out on us at all times, to become aware of the fact that we are permanently protected and guided. At the same time, it leads us to express our gratitude for all the good deeds we receive.

With their particular skill, these Angels always guide us with compassion when we feel weak and helpless. To all those who fight in the name of God, they bring hope and trust and renew faith in the omnipotence of Divine Grace. Lilac is the color of the angels of compassion, the universal symbol of Purity and Truth.

The angels of compassion are the intermediaries between God and men

They intervene on our behalf and obtain the Grace of divine compassion for us when we suffer or when we feel abandoned or forgotten by God. Compassion can be experienced in countless ways, many times without realizing it. It can manifest itself through the intervention of a friend in a moment of desperation.

Through a surplus of energy when we feel depressed, or through a change in the attitude of those close to us. Through an appropriate professional situation or even with a meeting that can transform our existence.

Then the most difficult situations are resolved, as we discover immediate solutions to our problems even in the most critical moments.

Becoming aware of the fact that these interventions are of divine origin leads us to keep hope even when things are not going well. At one time or another, the light will shine in the dark, the obstacles in which we continually blocked ourselves will smooth out by themselves. We must never stop trusting in divine compassion.

The main virtue that determines any action of this Angel is compassion. Some men believe that this quality is synonymous with the feeling of pity. From an esoteric point of view, however, compassion implies, apart from pity, the perfect power to empathize with the suffering of others and the ability to take someone’s suffering and neutralize it.

The Angel of Compassion offers us God’s love as a reality of life

When finding ourselves in an unpleasant situation, we orient ourselves with all aspiration towards the Divine, we are helped by the Angel of Compassion. He inspires us to make a permanent place in our thoughts, to divine mercy.

This angel is the one who facilitates and ensures the overcoming of the dramatic events of our life, making it possible to orient them towards a happy ending. His compassion is manifested through a miraculous force coming directly from God, and which allows him to help us readily if we invoke him when we are in danger.

All we have to do to feel it is to open our hearts to his infinite splendor. Compassion guides us towards the light and towards the eternal love of God. We pray to the angels of compassion to always be close to us. Let us not try to control events, but accept them as permanent good deeds of God. We are more generous and tolerant with others and with ourselves.

Since God does not condemn us irremediably and grants us his Grace, we too learn in turn to welcome the repentance of others, forgiving with all our hearts.

  • Angels in Hebrew writings after the Old Testament

The Angels In Jewish literature following the Old Testament, they acquired full independence. Manifesting themselves as autonomous beings with their own name and personal characteristics. However, it was only in the Hellenistic period that the Jewish religion felt the need to propose its own doctrine on angels, probably to counter precisely those superstitious pre-Biblical beliefs.

In fact, in the period of the Second Temple, the belief was affirmed that only the great prophets of ancient times had directly confronted God. While for contemporary human beings that contact could only be reached through angels. On the basis of this new conception of the role of angels, their nature and individual characteristics began to be studied.

It ended with the affirmation that the truth about creation and its end was beyond human means and could only be known through the angels. In addition, the deportation of the Jewish people to Babylon also involved profound contamination of the two cultures. The Jews came into contact with the Babylonian myths of the creation, the flood, and the creation of man, as well as with the numerous legends about the contacts between Gods and Men.

In order to reconcile those polytheistic myths with the monotheism that developed during the centuries in which the Jews had remained far from their Semitic homelands, they attributed much of those stories to the angelic world. In particular, with reference to this evolution, we can analyze the figure of Enoch, a character who was created under clear Babylonian influence.

He is considered the protector and creator of human culture, thanks to the transmission of divine wisdom to men. And that he carries out that intermediary activity between God and Man typical of the Jewish religion.

Other sources also treat Noah and Abraham alike, ascribing their special abilities of knowledge and wisdom to the angelic world. It can therefore be said that the external cultural influences linked to the world of pagan demonology have been assimilated by the Jews introducing them into the angelic world.

The Jewish sects and the angels

The doctrine of angels was not spread uniformly in the Jewish people, so much so that the apocalyptic preachers of the first millennium BC. attributed their knowledge of what would happen in the last days to contact with the angels.

Therefore, restricted groups of acolytes developed and special initiatory practices that could be followed to be admitted into such groups, so as to be able to access a higher level of knowledge related to angels. For this reason, the greatest diffusion of beliefs about angels took place in the secret society of the Essenes.

They jealously kept the list of names of angels and the Qumran manuscripts themselves (also called the Dead Sea manuscripts). they show us a complex structure linked to angels. In which the Prince of Light would fight together with the Sons of Light against the Prince of Darkness, on the last day of Creation. Thus was born the dualism of the struggle between the forces of Good and Evil for the final destiny of Man (Qumran War Scroll, 1QM 13:11).

However, other sects were not interested at all in these topics and in angels in general. Among them, the Pharisees showed little interest in these supernatural creatures, while the Sadducees even denied their existence (Acts of the Apostles 23: 8), as well as the possibility of resurrection or coming into contact with spirits, due to their firm opposition to any kind of mysticism.

The contrast between various ideological positions within sects also led to general confusion about the concept of the angel in popular culture. Especially among Jewish wizards and sorcerers, as angels were often associated with pagan deities for the treatment of various kinds of diseases. As possessors of secret healing formulas or other means that could protect or heal Man.

  • The individual who knows themselves knows where to go

The individual who knows himself knows where to go. We are all committed to the journey of life. In one way or another, we have to make decisions and take responsibility. If we decide not to decide, it means that we have decided to let ourselves be carried away by events, like a ship without a captain and a route to follow.

During the journey of growth, one should acquire greater self-awareness and give shape to the psycho-existential dimension which includes outlining a clear plan of life. If the individual does not have desires and aspirations to achieve, he falls into existential emptiness, into mental laziness, into the immobility of enterprise.

I remember clearly all my years in which I was spinning in circles, like a crazy top that crashes all over the place without ever following a precise direction. Living without a purpose is to fall into the abyss of daily anguish, it is to feel a sense of estrangement from oneself that generates an invasive and profound malaise. It is like being in a tunnel, feeling suffocated and not finding the way out.

An arrow without a bow is useless. An arrow with a bow but without a target can be thrown in the wrong direction and cause damage. This is why it is important to know yourself and work to get in touch with the intimate feeling area.

Not knowing can generate the desire to rely on the first support that is found in order to feel alive. The feeling of not existing is a source of countless dysfunctional behaviors. To get out of the dark forest of non-knowledge it is advisable to make a move and find a way to get to clarify within oneself.

The truth is within us, when we are born we are the custodians of a wealth of potential to be developed. Starting this journey is like an inner rebirth that brings peace, harmony, and solidity. This is why the individual who knows himself knows where to go.

  • Love yourself is never too late to find yourself

Love yourself is never too late. If human growth were dictated by an innate and automatic system, all human beings would spontaneously find the path to self-realization. Human life does not follow the law of instinct alone and it is precisely for this reason that it becomes possible to get lost. Disorient and remain prisoners of boundless trauma and pain like storm surges that sweep away the beaches of serenity.

The fragility with which we are woven is a thin thread that can break in the wound of a denied love. But it is also the possibility of being reborn as dewdrops that water the confused days of the past with hope. It is never too late to learn to love yourself and to take care of your soul. Waiting for a caress of comfort, words of reassurance, or a simple hug of warm love.

    Love yourself, hope, and serenity

We can take the colors of hope and bring light back into the darkness within us. We can write down new lines of poetry in the diary of our days and start asking ourselves again where are the dawn of peace and the sunset of inner serenity.

We can decide to shed tears of forgiveness in the furrows of a past steeped in resentment and resentment towards those who have mistreated us. To know that they too are lost souls in search of lost joy.

We can go back to kneeling in the humility of sincere prayer. Even if our faith falters like the flame of a candle that risks extinguishing under the wind of doubt and unbelief. We can go back to running in the meadows kissed by the sun and by the scents that intoxicate the heart with wide breaths.

We can decide that we truly deserve the chance to be happy and enjoy the journey of life, hunting for stars and an infinity that dwells within us. We can come back to ourselves with the desire to truly know ourselves and to know that it is never too late to love ourselves.

  • Guided meditation for freedom from bonds

Guided meditation, it is clear that we can never be truly happy as long as we are too attached to things or people. The fear of losing the love of a person or the possession of a material asset does not allow us to fully enjoy the gifts of life.

Whether it is material possessions, a profession, or a quality of our character, it is important to understand that it is okay to have something. As long as we have it very clear in mind that our happiness and our fulfillment do not depend on them.

The same goes for people. When we love a person, the fear of losing them and being alone often leads us to manipulate them emotionally with the consequence of creating non-constructive bonds. Unconditional love does not create bonds and leaves others completely free to be themselves.

Angels can help free us from bonds through guided meditation. In this guided meditation Michael the Archangel and the Angels of Healing will intervene.

First, sit or lie down comfortably and breathe deeply. With each breath, you enter a deeper and deeper state of relaxation and clear your mind of all thoughts.

Decide who or what you are ready to let go of and visualize it in front of you. Be aware of everything that binds you and the feelings you have.

Call Michael the Archangel next to you and let yourself be enveloped by his golden blue light. Ask the archangel Michael to cut, with his sword of truth and light, all the toxic bonds that bind you to that thing or person. All the while inhale and exhale deeply.

At the same time, you will be able to feel the presence of the Angels of Healing. They will surround you with their beautiful golden light to help you release this aspect of your life and transform it into light and love.

Continue to inhale and exhale deeply. At some point, you will feel within yourself that the whole process has ended. Before opening your eyes again, thank the archangel Michael and the angels for the healing.

You can repeat this guided meditation focusing on the same theme even for several days until you feel truly free from that bond or move on to another bond that you want to sever. Archangel Michael and the healing angels will be very happy to help you.

  • Honor every day the courage within you

Honor the courage that is within you every day. When one thinks of courage it is natural to imagine an immense and heroic strength like that of the warriors who fight. Of mythological heroes who face great trials or mothers who defend their children.

In reality, it is not only necessary to be courageous to accomplish great deeds. But also to face emotions, situations, and thoughts that worry or frighten us.

Personally, I believe that having courage means seeing a mountain in front of you and deciding not to stop, but to continue climbing. Along the way, being courageous means continuing to climb that mountain even when adversity makes the journey difficult.

Having courage means choosing what is right and not what is easy

Pursue your dreams and face fears, do not betray your ideals, and above all welcome all emotions including uncomfortable ones. There is immense strength within each of us, but too often we forget that we have this great resource and end up being trapped in the web of fear and victimhood.

Here are some exercises to recognize and develop the courage present within each of you.

The first exercise is to recognize and accept fear. There is nothing wrong with being afraid. You don’t have to reject fear and see it as an enemy. Your fears are a great opportunity because they allow you to celebrate your heroism.

Take a sheet of paper and write down your fears

It may seem trivial, but just writing your fears takes away their power. The next step is to think of a series of actions that can make your fears disappear. Start with the weaker ones, then move on to the others. For example, if you are afraid of dogs, start familiarizing yourself with the dog of an acquaintance of yours.

No heroic gestures are needed, just small actions that can make you feel stronger. Once you have overcome even one fear, you will see that you will feel stronger and more courageous. At this stage, you can also ask the archangel Michael and of course your guardian angel for help. Knowing that they are close to you will immediately make you feel more courageous.

The second exercise is to follow your dreams

Being courageous also means taking the first step to achieving the much-desired life, change jobs, get out of a non-functional relationship, etc …

Spend at least one hour a day to make your dream come true. Do not postpone yet, immediately begin to walk the path of change. You can start by writing down what you want to accomplish and the necessary steps. If you have any doubts about the actions to be taken, ask archangel Uriel for help who will show you the step to take.

The third and final exercise is to recognize your strength and your greatness

There is no failure, there are only results different from those expected. Often, what we call failure can turn into an opportunity.

Go through your life and take note of everything you have accomplished. Above all, try to remember the journey made to achieve your goals and the courage and strength you showed on those occasions. Treasure past experiences and when you feel stuck in fear, remember those moments and take action.

Recognize and honor the courage within you and remember that you are valiant simply by showing yourself to the world in all your beauty and uniqueness.
